Following Xero’s quarter 3 update, we cover here the key points that will help you get the most from your software:
General Ledger Exceptions Report
This is a new version of the general ledger report which picks up transactions which Xero believes to be unusual. They often pick up transactions with the non-default VAT rate and amounts higher than usual. This is a great report which can be used when reviewing your accounting entries and VAT Returns.
Contacts
The contacts screen has been updated and refreshed. It still has the same functionality as before, but with enhanced search and filter function, making it easier for you to focus on the suppliers and customers you are interested in.
Mobile App
Improvements have been made to the bank reconciliation function on the mobile app. You can now view more information about each transaction before reconciling, this includes the date and amount. More transactions can now be viewed on one page and the scroll function has been enhanced providing a more user-friendly experience.
