From 1 May 2024 Companies House are significantly increasing their fees for the processing and handling of forms and documents. Companies House state this revision is to bring the fees in line with the costs of providing their services, and to help cover the cost of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 which came into force on 4 March 2024. The new costs will affect the likes of a change in name, strike offs, and a re-registration of the company as well as the following:
- Confirmation Statement electronic filing fee will be increasing from £13 to £34.
- A change in company name will be increasing from £8 to £20.
- Incorporating a company or LLP online will be increasing from £10 to £50.
